HP Envy is a HP laptop models targeted for premium line. HP Envy is released with good hardware specs, nice looking design and useful features. HP Envy 14 - Sandy Bridge is equipped with 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M which is a dual core Sandy Bridge processor and paired with 6 GB DDR3 memory. On PCMark 7 full-system benchmark test, HP Envy 14 scored for 2,009 points. While some other contender only relied on Intel integrated graphical chip, HP Envy 14 - Sandy Bridge also equipped with AMD Radeon HD 6630M discrete graphics as secondary graphical chip (for primary graphical chip, it use Intel HD Graphics 3000 integrated graphical chip). To change between both graphical chip, you have to make the switch manually. On 3DMark 06 testing, HP Envy 14 - Sandy Bridge scored for 7,751 at medium resolution and 6,509 at native resolution. It beats Asus U46E-BAL5 (scored for 5,085 at medium and 4,191 at native), but falls from Acer AS3830TG-6431A (scored for 9,255). With this graphical performance, you can play Crysis (45.5 fps) and Lost Planet 2 (17.4fps) on HP Envy 14 - Sandy Bridge at medium resolution.
