Dell XPS 15z Reviews
Dell XPS 15z was released in high-end design and premium features. Its intended to replaced Dell Adamo series which discountinued few months ago. With thickness less than one-inch and fully aluminum materials, Dell XPS 15z geared with Intel powerful processor: Intel Core i7. Compared with the latest MacBook Pro, it may has less performance, but it has better 1080p screen, fantastic speakers. And the more important, it has cheaper price (Dell XPS 15z price $1,534 while Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch (Thunderbolt) price $2,199).
Dell XPS 15z use Intel Core i7-2620M (2.7GHz) for its processor. Those powerfull dual core processor is combined with 8GB of DDR3 RAM. For the graphical processor, they put Nvidia GeForce GT 525M on the system. With Optimus technology installed, it can shuts off GeForce GT 525M when it's not in use, and reverts to Intel HD Graphics 3000 integrated graphical chip. By using non-removable 64WH battery makes this laptop can only has 10.3 inch thick. On the test, in can stand for 6 hours 22 minutes (a pretty impressive for a 15-inch laptop).Its weight for 5.5 pound.
